Guardian Lion 3ds max, combustion, mental ray, ZBrush March 2010
It took me about a month and a half to create this image, I really enjoyed making it and felt like I learned a lot in the process. The image is based on the guardian lion from Nepali mythology. This type of character can also be found in other Asian cultures.
I was trying to create a sense of exploration and discovery with this image.
